Bringing a 1 year old female AKITA into my home? Will she still bond with me?

You will be just fine! I reused both of my Akita’s when they were about 2 years old and they are totally bonded to us! They are amazing dogs! If the dog was around other people there should be no issues with aggression! I strongly suggest you do cles with your new puppy and try to socialize the puppy as much as you can with other dogs!
