Will hooters hire me, if im only 17?

I believe they require 18 or older. Keep in mind that Hooters is exempt from many of the hiring practices other restaurants have because they categorize their wait staff as "performers" rather than just wait staff. This means they hold "auditions" rather than interviews, and it allows them to discriminate on age, gender, appearance, race, and a variety of other factors. Not quite sure how they get away with that, but they do.
