Why are Climatologists Baffled by Global Warming Time-Out?

The scientific elites are historically people who, once they have bought into a theory, tend to stubbornly stand behind it despite conflicting data that disputes it later on. They think that if they backpedal, they lose credibility. This is what happened with Darwin's Theory of Evolution. It sounded innovative, exciting, and an explanation for life that would discredit the Bible and creationism. Darwin came up with the idea while visiting the Galapagos Islands. He was a young scientist hoping to gain recognition. The elites latched onto the theory, even to the point of creating evidence (faking it) to make names for themselves. Charles Darwin, upon further research, denounced his theory as flawed research and incorrect conclusions, and he presenented rational data to disprove his own theory, but nobody wanted to go there. Instead they made him an outcast. This is the same deal with global warming. Only this time there are huge monies involved. Entire corporations built around the theory promoted by Al Gore. They don't care that MIT proved it wrong with the very program they created to study the ice polar samples. They don't care that sunspots are the real cause for global climate changes. They don't care that temperatures rise in response to sunspot activity, and in a few hundred years in response to raised temperatures, CO2 levels rise, not the other way around. What they care about is there own credibility, the grant money, and the big big business that is making a killing off of this carp. When I was a kid in school, the popular theory was that we were heading for another ice age. That could not be blamed on man however, so it did not become the money machine that global warming has become. I'm all for keeping our environment clean, however I despise the wasted billions on a false teaching.
