FDR New Deal sum up.?

Lets see, he took on a bad situation and made it worse. The economy was in recession and thanks to his prime the pump (same as Obama's big spending for nothing) The recession draged on and became the great depression. The only thing that got the US out of that was it's entry in WWII. I do give FDR credit for putting the US in position to win WWII but negative credit for his fiscal policy and achevements which caused the suffering of millions of people needlessly. So over all I would grade him as a B- president on the simple factor that WWII could have destroyed the US as a country, but points off for his failure economically.
