Emancipation at 18. Can I get federal aid for schooling? Thanks.?

I went through this situation, you can only get federal aid as an independent student at 18 if you meet one of their requirements (married, kids, military) or if you can prove that you needed to leave an abusive home. If these things didnt happen, then no, you cant..
