Anyone know where to find a small nux vomica plant/tree? From Asia, China, Thailand, Singapore, India?

My main hobby is to raise/grow old medicinal plant life from different countries and cultures for research. I've tried germinating seeds several times with no success. I know there may be legal or certain peoples opinions on this plant maybe negative or unjust. So, please with positive, knowledgeable, and understanding, give answers that can help I appreciate it sincerely.
