Should i text him back?

my boyfriend & i have been together for about 22 months, but weve just come out of like a huge rough patch. we were fighting a lot & he was on the verge of breaking up with me because i was being a bit argumentative & 'clingy', which i know i was. we had a mive talk, & decided to have about a week away from eachother to think & refresh, so we could come back to eachother without all our previous problems. we havent argued & i dont feel co-dependent on him any more, (the reason i was like that is because id been under a lot of pressure so i took it out on him, but im not like that as a person, it was just a couple of months)we are just about okay now, getting back on track :).. anyway, he text at like 5pm, & i text him back at about half 5, but he didnt reply until about 11pm because he went to his golf presentation & has gone to a pub with his golf mates, which i understand (even though he could have let me know he was busy), i didnt text him since half 5 in case he thought i was being clingy again, but now hes text back, should i reply? or wait until dinnertime tomorrow when im on my break at work? or should i just wait for him to text again tomorrow?
