I have a section 8 tenant. How to terminate?

I have a sect 8 family that had a year contract which has been up for a few months. I need to teminate the tenants and get new ones (need more rent, they are damaging the property etc) I called HUD and they say I give them a 90 day notice to move. 90 days is way longer than I want as I am afraid they will destroy the place. Can I legally get them out sooner and if so, how. It is in Long Beach Calif.
